Services We Offer
Psychiatric Evaluation
Discovering Your Needs
The first step in treatment planning involves a comprehensive assessment of your current symptoms, your past, and your goals for treatment.
This may involve, with your permission, contacting providers or family members who know you well and who may provide a richer perspective on your concerns.
After the assessment, you and your provider will review evidence-based treatments and possible referrals to other providers to promote wellness. Each decision about your treatment will be made together after extensive education so that you feel comfortable and confident about your plan.
Medication Management
Taking Care of You
The frequency of medication follow up visits vary depending on your needs, they can vary from weekly to up to every three months. Our providers do their best to use the lowest dose and fewest medications possible. We often help people eliminate medications that are no longer needed or effective. We may also recommend vitamins or supplements in combination or in lieu of traditional prescription medications.
During your follow-up visits, we will incorporate extensive education and recommendations regarding diet, sleep, and exercise.

We practice personalized medicine by offering genetic testing to help determine which drugs may be a better fit based on your unique genes. A simple cheek swab identifies key genes in your DNA that affect how you respond to medication. This can save you months of trial and error and unwanted side effects traditionally involved in selecting a psychiatric medication.
Individual Therapy
Be Heard
Our providers are all trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other various therapeutic modalities that are effective for treating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, attachment, grief and loss, life transitions, and personal improvement (including motivation & self-esteem).
Our providers’ primary focus is to help our clients manage distressing situations and events more effectively. We also strive to assist our clients in increasing healthy coping skills and addressing negative thoughts and beliefs that may be causing challenges in their lives.

Combo Medication Management & Individual Therapy
Helping You Reach Emotional & Physical Wellness
Most of our patients choose to see us, when appropriate, for both for medication management and individual psychotherapy. These visits typically occur weekly, although you and your provider may decide together that more or less frequent visits are appropriate.

If you and your provider work together in this way, we believe in getting to know you beyond the symptoms that we are treating with medications.

Patients have expressed to us that the combination treatments have been most effective for them!
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Treatment
Celebrating & Empowering You
LGBTQIA+ Affirming treatment works by helping individuals integrate their identity into their lived experience. Affirmative providers hold space to validate one’s experiences of oppression while instilling resiliency. By working with an affirmative provider, you are teaming up with someone that can help advocate for your rights and needs.

Topics that may be covered regarding this care include (but are not limited to):
Identity exploration
Shame, guilt, and fear
Trauma (including religious trauma, bullying, and sexual abuse)

Improving quality and authenticity of life

We evaluate and write letters for gender confirmation (top and bottom) surgeries and follow the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) standards. The evaluation consists of a thorough clinical interview and questionnaire to assess for current mental health functioning.
